The hub of this small town of New Berlin is the Britzkie Store and Cafe. Britzkie Station (Cafe) offers up great fried catfish and pies for the locals and a cool porch and a gatoraid for the cyclists passing through. Just a few miles east on the Britzie Station ride is a tree covered road called Ulrich (no relation) Rd. This is just about as nice as Texas can get. If you don't want to make the 60 mile jaunt out and back to Britzkie then drive out I10 East and park at the store and you will find miles of great Texas country roads - all flat in the New Berlin and Zuelh area.
